Exiten varias bandas que rinden tributo a Black Sabbath ya sea en sus liricas o en su musica, pero Cathedral de una manera muy original demuestra ser una de ellas, incluso de las mas conocidas y mejores que exista, al inicio hacian doom/ death con la serie de demos y eps hasta su primer disco oficial Forest of Equilibrium a partir the Etheral Mirror cambiria la cosa a Doom/ Stoner sin embargo conservan sus lineas del doom original, cada disco es distinto e igual de bueno que el anterior, la banda esta conformada actualmente por Lee Dorrian: Voz, Gary "Gaz" Jennings: Guitarra, Leo Smee: Bajo, Brian Dixon: Batería, como dato curioso Lee Dorrian es dueño de la disquera que hoy graba a muchas bandas de este genero: Rise Above Records
